Join us for one week, multiple weeks, or the whole summer!

Each week presents a new, specific challenge to keep the engagement and effort high, and another opportunity for your children to practice the tools that will help them build a Growth Mindset.

Weeks Offered at This Location:

June 2-6

Cardboard Creations

What can you create out of cardboard? With piles of boxes, workshops with special cardboard tools and techniques, and plenty of creativity and grit, the possibilities are endless – and so are the opportunities to apply our THINK>BUILD>LEARN framework as they tinker, test and iterate on their designs.

June 9-13

Space Exploration: To Infinity & Beyond

If you crash-landed on an unknown planet, what would you do? Would you stay and build shelter, explore with a rover, or design a new spaceship to get home? This week, campers will step into the role of intergalactic engineers — racing against the clock to create the vehicles, habitats, and tools they need to survive and thrive in outer space.

July 6 - 10

Rides & Roller Coasters

What rides can you create with tubes, tapes and other recycled materials? Campers will design and build miniature rides and roller coasters — experimenting with drops, loops, and clever mechanisms as they test and refine their creations. It’s one wild ride of creativity and problem-solving.

June 23-27

Community Builders: Cities & Towns

What makes a community come alive? This week, campers will design and build everything that helps people live, work, and play together — from skyscrapers, shops and schools to parks, bridges, and trails. Using plenty of recycled materials and imagination, they’ll bring their own miniature city or town to life.

June 30-July 3

Freedom Build

During this week, campers will have the freedom to build whatever they want. While they will be limited by the materials and time available, their creativity will be limitless!

June 15-19

Medieval Times: Castles & Catapults

Can you build a castle with a working drawbridge? Or design a catapult that fires with precision? Campers will dive into the world of pulleys, levers, and medieval engineering to defend their cardboard kingdoms with creativity and cunning.

June 1 - 5

Cardboard Arcade

This week, campers will work creatively within constraints to turn recycled materials into a functioning arcade. From design to building and testing, they’ll think like inventors — and celebrate their accomplishments by playing each other’s games.

Contact the Location Director:

Tanya Livingston

I have served as a preschool teacher, kindergarten aide, children’s ministries director and am currently a high school business educator.

This summer will be my third year as a Neuron Garage director. I enjoy getting to know campers, assisting them through complex project builds, and seeing campers develop and strengthen their growth mindsets. I have observed that allowing students to fail and learn from those failures builds confidence and problem solving skills.
