Guide

Guides play an imperative role in the Neuron Garage experience. In the course of just one week, our Guides inspire the lives of children for years to come by encouraging them to embrace a growth mindset through modeling curiosity, flexible thinking, perseverance, empathy, and a positive attitude.

A summer with Neuron Garage is a super-charged experience working with children. With a different group of children each week, Guides get tons of practice encouraging classroom community, building trusting relationships, delivering curriculum, and helping children develop important social-emotional skills. They leave each season with invaluable leadership and career experience.

I am very pleased with the counselor engagement, guiding the kids to push themselves but within boundaries of what they are comfortable doing. My son has blossomed and is engaging with other campers. He has new found self-confidence and is taking pride in the projects he is completing.

My camper loved this camp. It’s designed to be fun for her, and I like the big life lessons it teaches that go beyond a week of building.

My kiddos were so challenged and more importantly nurtured through the challenges! We’ll be back next year!
